Ludwig van Beethoven – ‘Sonata No. 28 in A major’ – Nanae Green

Ludwig van Beethoven was born in 1770 and died in 1827. In his relatively short life he composed a big amount of classical music pieces for all kinds of instrumentations. In this video you can watch San Diego State University graduate Nanae Green playing one of Beethoven’s sonatas the Sonata No. 28 in A major, Allegretto, ma non troppo. She is playing according to Ludwig van Beethoven’s indications on the sheets, which is remarkable because Beethoven is one of the first composers who made indications for the dynamics of the interpretation. Since then it has become quiet familiar for the composers to annotate special indications on the sheet music.
